TMNT vs. Mr. Perfect: Stop Motion Goodness

In 2008, for whatever reason, I don't remember, I got into stop-motion photography.  I loved going on YouTube and watching videos, sometime for hours at a time.  I found a few good videos made with Ninja Turtles figures, and a few with wrestling figures.  I got the bug one night and REALLY wanted to make a good one for myself.  I had a Mr. Perfect wrestling figure, but I needed another.  So I went to Wal-Mart (at around midnight), picked out a 2007 TMNT Movie Donatello.

Yes, a wrestler versus a Ninja Turtle.

Since I had the computer stolen that had the tons of pictures I took for the video on it, I can't say how many I took.  But I do know it was a lot.  Five hundred to a thousand, maybe?  I don't know.  Either way, I took all the pictures, went online to find appropriate music (Mr. Perfect's and TMNT theme), as well as some wrestling sounds and commentary.  With absolutely no editing skills beforehand, I used Windows Movie Maker (apparently on every PC that is released) to edit it all together.

What I got out of it all was a five minute and change video with sound effects, some commentary, lots of wrestling moves, and a giant hand counting as the referee.  You'll see.

See, what'd I tell you?  Giant hand.  Probably the one thing I regret about the video itself.

What I hate, though, is how I can't put it on YouTube.  Every time I try, it gets removed because there is copyrighted music in the video.  I think it's just because of the TMNT theme song.  It's a shame, too.  While not that great technically, it's probably the most creative thing I've ever done (aside from writing a poem for the Wifey & I's 2 year dating anniversary).

I love this video, and I hope whoever views it, likes it, too.  I put my heart and soul into it.
